Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Our monthly Chai Prayer Points are sent out to those wishing to pray for Israel effectively and with an understanding of current issues. 'Chai' is the Hebrew word for 'life' and '18', and so we come together on the 18th of each month to pray life for the Lord's land and people, and to 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem'.

Prayer Points are from BFP's 'Israel Current News Update' and other national and international media outlets. If you wish to receive this helpful resource, or to lead or be part of a local Israel prayer group, do contact our office and we will be glad to assist you.

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels. For the sake of my brothers and friends I will say 'Peace be within you'. For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity." Psalm 122:6-9

CHAI PRAYER GROUP FOCUS

In order to be able to direct enquirers to the nearest Chai prayer group, we need to know where existing groups meet. We would like to publish appropriate details on our website and from time to time in our online newsletter, and would therefore appreciate knowing:

(a) whether you currently attend a regular Chai prayer group
(b) whether you would like to join a regular Chai prayer group near you
(c) whether you lead a regular Chai prayer group (please indicate town/locality and contact e-mail address and telephone number)
(d) whether you are willing to lead a regular Chai prayer group in your area

We will then be in a position to give the details of those wishing to join a Chai prayer group to a nearby prayer group leader, who will then make contact with enquirers directly.
